Hey dolls, hope you guys had a good week! Now it’s blog
time.
Last week we looked at the sexy accessory fashionable enough to release
the beast within... Your tights. We looked at how suspenders have taken legs by
storm; now it’s time to look at something your feet would appreciate –Military
boots.
I recently had a conversation about these boots, and realized it would be
a great thing to blog about as it’s something you have to feel comfortable in.
–Yeah their not easy to pull off. Chunky and black, military boots are usually
associated with sexy army men, sweating under the scorching sun, stamping their
feet to orders. Hah who knew girls could pull it off. Talk about chick’s running
the world (check Beyonce’ in her vid. she’s wearing them!)
Military boots are a risk for anyone, as they have to be paired like any
shoe, with the right accessories and clothes. Being large they make feet look
giant like, and create a frumpy walk. Yet of course their sturdy, long lasting
and extremely fashionable this winter. An investment even in the stingiest
person’s eyes I guarantee!
Military boots come in a wide range of colors, though black is clearly a more favorable choice along with grey. Tan military boots = to a no no. You don’t want to look like you left them out in the sun resulting in them becoming discolored, and well, tanned. Plus it can’t really be paired up with jeans as I'm sure not a lot of people own shit colored jeans. If there is a person out there with brown jeans.. BIN THEM! BIN THEM NOW! + My apologies for the insult. I have a passionate hate towards brown jeans.

Anyway, boots have always been fashionable in winter, so here are ways to
break away from the traditional UGG dilemma.
A) Uggs, pft yeah -Everyone’s wearing them. Like... everyone... even my
mum!
B) Blimey...come to think of it even chavs.
C) PLUS I refuse to spend 230 euro to get another pair since now it’s
“in” for MEN to also wear them –hence Muggs = MEN+UGGS. (Work it
out). HAHA
Muggs. How embarrassing God... Dear god.
I blame “The only way is Essex” which frankly can suck my
d**k.
This is why Military boots have become a woman’s fashion item because YOU
BLOODY MEN TOOK AWAY OUR UGGS. They were so comfy
ANYWAY:
An excellent way to pair them?
Jumper (loose grey/ black)
Suspender (printed tights) Ouh I in cooperated the last blog into this one. Pure genius here guys. Trust me.

And duh the boots.
Hah’ easy. But... There is a dark side to them.
Do not end up looking gothic, black is the way forward but common; we want to be able to see you in the dark. Don’t go totally pitch black on our ass.

And by all means, NEVER EVER wear military boots with... a
dress.
Avril Lavinge gave all teenage girls the idea that they can strut around in prom dresses and converse. Hah and then she got beat up last week. A warning sign to all -don’t go around in that you’d get shot.

Ok now to the price, good military boots and you know what I mean by good
ladies, is 120 euro + which is high quality. But ASOS.. ah dear ASOS (www.asos.com) what would I do without you, has
the same boots for less! Obviously with a difference in quality but you have
more of a variety, color and size. Hurry though there aren’t many left.
Prices on asos vary from 50-100 for boots if not more. You have a great
selection and it’s up to you what one you choose to sport. Plus they have
designer ones too.
Let you feet tingle to the idea of opening a new box, smelling the pure
leather (or fake whatever floats your boat) whilst touching the shiny surface of
the boot. Just don’t do it in public, you’re going to look like a freak, then
everyone’s going to go Avril Lavinge on ya ass.
So ladies, or guys..whoever’s reading this, ENJOY THE WINTER BOOT
COLLECTION OF 2011. Rock out your military boots, stamp out your enemies and
march towards a more fashionable you. HOW IMPOWERING.
Good luck see you next week!
